How it works
Vitamin A is largely known as the “smart vitamin” because it can detect and adapt to what your skin needs. If your skin is aging, it turns up the volume on natural skin renewal to mimic how your skin functioned when it was younger. If your skin is congested, it helps clear out impurities that cause breakouts. Too dry? It supports the skin’s natural moisture. This skin intuitive formula works by pairing vitamin A with a liposomal delivery system and a team of supporting ingredients to deliver optimal results while limiting the look of redness and flaking. A base of ceramides, CoQ10 and hyaluronic acid delivers hydration and helps counteract the feeling of irritation from the retinol. Beta glucan supports the skin’s natural external barrier, while a clinical dose of THD ascorbate (a vitamin C counterpart) helps brighten the appearance of skin and helps protect from free radical damage. Tips:
- Retinol results often take 30 days to be visibly noticed. As skin acclimates to retinol, it is normal for some breakouts to occur as the skin purges impurities. Stick with your program as the skin will normalize and smoother, clearer and firmer-looking skin will be revealed within your first few weeks of use.
- For skin that is prone to redness or irritation from retinol, create a “retinol sandwich” to minimize potential negative effects. On clean skin, apply Natural Moisture Factor, next, layer RejuvenA and then seal in the blend with Topical C.
- For best results, alternate the use of other actives, like alpha hydroxy acids and beta hydroxy acids, to opposite nights as RejuvenA to limit the chance of irritation. Lipid-soluble vitamin C, like the forms found in Topical C, Vita C Serum and Vitamin C Moisturizer, is safe to pair with RejuvenA.
